JPG, PNG, WebPAbout the Image Resizer
The Image Resizer runs entirely in your browser. Choose Percentage mode to scale the image uniformly (1% to 200%), or Custom dimensions to set explicit width and height in pixels. When Keep aspect ratio is checked, changing one dimension updates the other proportionally. All processing happens locally — your image never leaves your device.
How to use it
- Click the drop zone or drop an image file onto it.
- Choose a mode: percentage for uniform scaling, or custom for explicit dimensions.
- Adjust width, height, or percentage as needed.
- Click Apply to render the resized image.
- Click Download to save, Reset to restore, or Clear to start over.
Frequently asked questions
What does the percentage mode do? It scales both width and height by the same factor. 50% halves the dimensions, 200% doubles them.
How does Keep aspect ratio work? When checked, editing width auto-updates height (and vice versa) using the original aspect ratio, preventing distortion.
What is the output format? The download is a PNG file, preserving detail without compression artifacts.
Does this tool upload my images? No. All processing happens locally in your browser.
